Drunk man patrols street as fake policeman

A UK man has been jailed for 14 months after he got drunk & ‘patrolled’ Durham as a fake policeman in his friend’s Special Constable Uniform.
Samuel John Houlihan aroused suspicion due to his odd behavior in the toilets of 2 licensed premises, after which he got in a taxi & told the driver “Take me home. I’m the law”.
Real police then arrived to arrest him.
Samuel’s friend said he left him “dog-sitting” for the night & returned to find his uniform missing.
