• A German man who broke up with his wife posted a video of him sawing their belongings in half to YouTube, after which he listed his share on eBay for sale.
• Text accompanying the montage read: “Thank you for 12 beautiful years, Laura. You’ve really earned half. Greetings also to my successor”. In statements made to Metro UK, the man (known as Der Juli online) says he was angry that his wife left him to be with a friend, so he cut up everything, sent Laura her half and listed his share for sale as a joke.
• Among other things, a car, laptop, iPhone, bicycle, bed and teddy bear were all halved using power tools.
