• Police in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island are threatening to punish drink drivers by making them to listen to Nickelback!
• According to a post on the police service’s Facebook page, they will be out looking for those dumb enough to drink and drive.
• In addition to the threat of fines, criminal charges and licence suspension, the post includes a pic of Nickelback’s 2001 album Silver Side Up and the ominous line:”You don’t drink and drive and we won’t make you listen to it”.
• Constable Robb Hartlen says the move is an attempt to inject a little humour into a very serious matter.
