British cop crawls entire London marathon in a Gorilla suit for charity

A British police officer raised $42,700 for charity after he crawled the 26.2-mile (42.1km) course of the London marathon in a gorilla costume, over 6 days!
Tom Harrison (otherwise known as Mr Gorilla), of the Metropolitan Police Department, crawled and beat his chest throughout the event to raise money for the Gorilla Organization, which aims to protect endangered species.
It’s reported that Tom averaged 4.5 miles a day, and slept at friends’ houses along the way. Tom later told the BBC that the fact that his feat went global was”unexpected, but brilliant”.
Tom probably won’t pack away the suit though, because he plans to wear it to cycle 100 miles in Ride London in July!
