Blind man says he, not his guide dog, bit dope dealer

A blind man has told a French court that it was him, not his guide dog, who bit a dope dealer that tried to sell him real grass instead of marijuana.
It’s reported that the blind man and the accused drug dealer got into a brawl after the dealer took 100 euros from the man for a bag of grass that he claimed was cannabis.
The Ouest France daily, who reported the story, quoted the unnamed man as saying “”I bit him. My dog didn’t do it. Guide dogs are not attack dogs” and also dubbed the accused drug dealer as the “lawn seller”.
The blind man was reportedly given a sentence of 4 months to be served at home with an electronic bracelet.
