CCTV footage recorded in Winnellie Darwin shows a man lighting an explosive in an ATM, but then being knocked back from the force when it exploded seconds after
Detectives arrived at the scene to find the ATM destroyed, but no money stolen.
The video shows the man being knocked off his feet (& his shoes as well), then running away.
Police believe the man is responsible for a similar (but more successful) incident in the area on December 24.
