University students banned from throwing mortarboards

The University of East Anglia has reportedly banned graduates from throwing ‘mortarboards’ into the air after several students were injured by falling hats.
Here’s the kicker – ‘Penguin Photography’ says they’ll be happy to add mortarboards digitally to photos… for £8 (AUD$16, $USD12)!
To avoid the “unacceptable risk” of injury and damage to mortarboards, students have been instructed to “mime” the throwing action, instead
