• Larry Harcar is a fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and was simply coming home from a costume party when he was accosted by the wannabe crime-fighting duo.
• The neighbours were charged with aggravated assault, firearm, battery and false imprisonment and released on bail after paying $8,500.
• Lawyers for the neighbours say this is just a misunderstanding. They saw a man with a gun and sword, and didn’t know they were toys.
