• Queensland Police are looking for a man after CCTV footage of his hopeless repeated attempts to steal an ATM went viral!
• According to the footage, the man (dressed in a tracksuit and ‘scarecrow’ hat) drives his ute in front of a Townsville service station before breaking in and attaching a chain to the ATM.
• The chain snaps when the man drives off, but  he returns and re-parks the ute only to find out that he has parked too far and the chain does not reach his ute.
• Seemingly defeated, the man abandons the theft and flees the scene!
• QLD police are asking for assistance to locate the man for questioning over the stolen vehicle and break-and-enter.
