• Police officials in Charlotte North Carolina say they can’t arrest a man who has been standing naked in his doorway for 10 years because he’s not breaking any laws.
• It’s been reported that neighbors claim the unidentified man has stood naked in his doorway several times a week for the past 10 years (typically smoking or talking on the phone) and that many people (notably children) are afraid to go outside when he’s in the doorway.
• As the man is technically inside his own home, police claim they can’t charge him with indecent exposure as he hasn’t wilfully exposed himself in a public place.
