Instagram users around the world went into meltdown when Instagram crashed

Instagram addicts around the world took to Twitter to vent their rage when the popular website and app crashed at around 6am (Australian time).
Some asked how they were supposed to see what other people were eating?
Instagram appears to have fixed the technical difficulties it said it was experiencing.
Imagine if Facebook and Twitter went out?
