- A British conman has been jailed for 7 years after it was discovered he escaped prison by sending staff a fake email saying he’d been granted bail.
- It’s reported that Neil Moore used an illicit phone in prison to set up a domain similar to that of the court service and emailed custody personnel informing them of his ‘bail’.
- The judge said the ruse was sophisticated and ingenious.
- At the time, Neil Moore was reportedly in remand for fraud offences.
