Belgian minister’s bicycle stolen while at a conference to promote cycling!

A Belgian Minister who rode his bicycle to a conference to promote cycling found out it was stolen in the half an hour that he was away!
Ben Weyts is the minister for mobility for Flanders, and he had discussed a plan to invest €300m in cycle lanes until 2019. The proposal was part of a plan to promote alternative modes of transport.
According to a spokesperson for the Minister, the bike was locked in a rack at the station, but it was not there when they returned.
It’s hoped that security footage will help police locate the thief.
